Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 6, 2026. This Privacy Policy applies to Pittsburgh Emo Night, LLC (doing business as Pittsburgh Emo Night), located at 5832 Forward Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, and covers our website (yinzemo.com) and iOS app. We collect information you provide directly, including contact form data (first name, last name, email, phone, reason, and message), public user profile data (username, email, optional phone number, password hash, avatar, pronouns, biography, favorite bands, optional social profile links such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and event attendance selections you choose to make public on event pages), song request data (name, artist, song, and optional email/phone), and check-in data (first name, pronouns, profile photo, location/proximity details, and device/app details). We also collect technical data needed to operate and secure the service, including request metadata such as IP address and user agent for check-ins and account protection. We use this information to operate events, run the website/app, authenticate user accounts, moderate live song requests and check-in behavior, respond to support requests, and market future events when you provide email or phone through song requests or profile features. Check-in data is used only for event operations and is purged 4 hours after each event. Public user profile data is retained until you request deletion or we remove the account for operational or safety reasons. Song request and contact data are retained as needed for operations, moderation, and marketing, unless you request deletion. We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us run the platform, including Cloudflare (hosting/storage), Google Analytics (site analytics), MailChannels (contact form delivery), music metadata/search providers including Apple iTunes Search, and mapping/geocoding services. The website may use cookies for admin authentication and public user-profile authentication and may use local storage to remember song-request contact fields on your device; the iOS app may store temporary local check-in state to keep your session active during an event window. You can request access, correction, deletion, or marketing opt-out by emailing adam@yinzemo.com. This service is not directed to children under 13. If we add in-app notifications before launch, we will request opt-in permission and update this Privacy Policy.
