Imagine going to multiple concerts a week without ever having to step foot off of campus. For many Pitt students, that was the reality in the late 90's-early 00's.
Club Laga was an 800-capacity concert venue located on the fourth floor 3609 Forbes Ave. that was open from 1998-2004 and hosted over one thousand concerts, featuring many names who would become iconic.
When it opened, Laga had a smaller capacity - and hosted mostly smaller/mid-sized punk shows and local DJs. As the room made upgrades to sound and light over the years, ultimately adding a balcony - the venue would host names like Danzig, Wu-Tang Clan, and Fall Out Boy.
Club Laga closed in 2004 - the final show headlined by local legends, The Berlin Project on April 2.
